Marysia Collins

Marysia Collins joined Wellington Community Fund in 2016 after moving to Whanganui-a-Tara from the UK. She spent eight years in client services at some of London’s top digital agencies and is now delighted to apply her skills in a way that aligns with her values. Marysia is passionate about improving grantmaking processes to advance equity and ensure that every decision reflects the Fund’s values and the needs of communities in Te Upoko o te Ika.

In addition to her work at WCF, Marysia contracts for other funders, helping them enhance systems and processes to make grantmaking more effective and equitable.

Away from her funding work, she manages a successful music business, performing at high-profile events across Aotearoa, and is a strong advocate for the music community, playing a key role in establishing the E tū Musicians’ Union.
