We’re delighted to introduce some new faces joining the Wellington Community Fund team in contracted roles as we undertake a review of our operations.
Vesna West has joined as our Community Engagement & Funding Manager, with responsibility for our General Grants programme. Vesna brings 20+ years of experience spanning language services, not-for-profit management, and senior advisory roles across local and central government, with a strong focus on migrant communities and ethnic diversity.
Tracey Sa joins us as Administrator. Tracey is a lifelong Wellingtonian of Samoan heritage who brings over 30 years of administrative experience across the public and private sectors, with strong local knowledge and organisational expertise.
Diane Tunoho is contracting with us in the role of Kaitakawaenga Māori. Diane has stepped aside from her role as a Board Trustee while she contracts to us. With decades of experience in Māori education and a lifelong connection to the Hutt Valley, Diane brings rich community knowledge and a deep grounding in te reo Māori and tikanga to her role as our kaitakawaenga Māori.
We are reviewing our operations. We expect we will advertise permanent positions in May 2026 and share recruitment information with our networks.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at if you have funding questions, at admin@wellingtoncommunityfund.org.nz.
