Deanne joined Wellington Community Fund in September 2023. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from the New Zealand School of Music and a Master of Fine Arts from Massey University.

Raised in Lower Hutt, Deanne moved to Te Whanganui-a-Tara as a student and never left. She is proud to work for an organisation that is committed to seeing communities thrive in these areas.

She is an accomplished musician and composer and gigs regularly around the motu. She has toured with many local bands including; Trinity Roots, Pacific Heights, Congress of Animals, Dawn Diver, The Wellington Ukulele Orchestra, and the Rodger Fox Big Band.
